Tom Hardy amazes, again. He's slowly becoming one of the best actors of his generation, delivering one knockout performance after another. And the fact that his acting pedigree runs across the entire spectrum. He also has the rare ability to make any accent appear genuine, which further affirms that assertion.

It should be known though, it's best to come into the movie with a bit of context, given just how far off the beaten path this movie lies. Yet that may prove to be trickier than hoped for, because therein lies the possibility that you'll also realize more than you should, which would take away from the movie's impact.

So if you don't mind a slower-paced (yet entertaining), dialogue based drama, which only requests that you use your imagination along the way, then you'll surely come away feeling the same about this movie as everyone else (which has led to the movie having outstanding ratings). If you have an open mind when it comes to your movie viewing, then I'd recommend giving this movie a shot solely based on the fact that it has >90% rating.
