Review of Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels (1998) by Nader H — 26 Jul 2011
Not bad, considering it's Guy Ritchie's directing debut and I think Matthew Vaughn's producing debut as well. This was also the first step in both of their careers from which they learned and improved with Snatch, Layer Cake, etc.
Basically, I've watched all of these crime, fast-paced humoristic movies in reverse order of their appearances on the screen, so I can't be a reliable source for ratings, since obviously Rocknrolla is much better, cos' it has all the things that this movie was lacking, but for the time this film came out, it was quite unique.
