Surprisingly flat, especially in Ritchie's direction (apart from a couple of effective montages) and the wooden acting. This movie is supposed to be cool and badass, and nobody is cool or badass except maybe Statham, and even then, meh.
Perhaps it's shock from having watched several Danny Boyle films before this (because nobody can match that guy's energy), but it feels like the only time it picks up is in the denouement.
