Heartwarming characters, deeply moving ending, and hilariously quirky humor. Once I figured out what it was really all about, I appreciated the subtle, low key story telling. I can see why it's my professor's favorite film.
.. I'll have to watch again sometime when I can actually HEAR the dialogue though.
