Seen this film many times over the years and it is still entertaining. The beach scenes filmed near Arisaig are where I used to go on holiday as a child. The change in Mac as materialistic american to a more laid back person is portrayed well.
Liked the east meets west scenario. Was once in a pub in Ullapool that was full of Russian Klondykers so It was good to see this part of life portrayed here..
