Such a beautiful ..gentle, funny film.... probably my favorite film of all time .. I love the way the place gets under the skin of the American .....
Some classic lines in it ...
.."And are there two G's in B*gg*r off"...
And I'd make a good gordon, gordon :-).
Great acting from everyone...Not forgetting Burt Lancaster..Bill forsyth seem'd too have a unique touch with this and his other films of the time.
