Review of Lo and Behold: Reveries of the Connected World (2016) by Nico J — 19 Aug 2016
I can see why it is a fascinating film for someone who don't spend much time on the internet reading about or interacting with modern technologies (such as those so-called film critics). This film tries to cover a large array of topics by shoving them all under a vague term -- "the internet;" while this is surely a helpful strategy for covering more within the duration of a film, it does not go in-depth with any one particular topic.
I appreciate what it tries to convey, but it ends up feeling like the first half of an "Intro to information technology course.".
