Review of Lo (2009) by Rhady N — 31 May 2010
Ultra-low budged, near-guerrilla horror comedy with so many great things to it and such a beautiful ending. It's not a film for the theaters as we conceive them today, those visually polished products whose costs force them to take themselves too seriously.
It's rather the kind of thing that would be coming out of a modern, minimalist version of Georges Méliés, and let's face it: considering the state of creativity within industrial cinema these days, how could I not have a perplexed smile on throughout the whole viewing?
