I viewed this movie from the perspective of someone who cleans house with the mirthful spirit of a Calvinist. So I missed some of the subtle homoeroticism, some of the psychological cruelty of this movie.
If you expect closure here, a happy ending, you'll be disappointed; Senora Beba needs her maid, and her maid, well, she doesn't actually need Senora Beba.
