Ben gives an intriguing performance in Live By Night. Ben's character is very clever & he outsmarts his rivals with his ingenuity. The gangster saga is riddled with cliches, but it rises above its drawbacks.
The movie is chock full of action galore gangster style, narration by Ben, a solid supporting cast and there are even neat twists in the movie in the later part of the film. Ben also directed this crime thriller and this is one of his better films of recent years, B+.
