Review of Live by Night (2016) by Ann P — 16 Jan 2017
The acting was superb all around; the problem was the screenplay (Boardwalk Empire wannabe falls short) and the sound editing (horrible). The irish accents so thick during the first half hour, subtitles might have helped since the dialogue was practically inaudible.
Stuck it out all the way through because I am a huge fan of Ben Affleck but this one just didn't measure up to his usual stellar output.
