Review of Live by Night (2016) by Grant T — 16 Feb 2017
A missed opportunity. Compared to Ben Affleck's past successes, Live by Night will be a middle-ground piece of work that was always searching for something more. The dialogue was often lazy and the story seemed unfocused, but the film had an undeniable sense of lavish and style.
Really wished this was better, but it wasn't entirely flawed.
