Produced, directed, and starring the actor himself, Live By Night is no doubt Ben Affleck's baby. He sure made a name for himself as a capable director as the film boasts fantastic visuals, a pleasant aesthetic, and an impressive cast but unfortunately fails to make up for the lack of solid storytelling in an all too familiar trope.
