Review of Live and Let Die (1973) by Steve H — 26 Dec 2008

Voodoo and Tarot can't save this Bond film. It begins with an intriguing mystery that never really develops into a very tangible plot. The villains are ambiguous (though with use of clever makeup, quite enjoyable), their plot is too complicated (or not intelligible enough) to really seem worth Bond's time, but good use of Felix and the introduction of Jane Seymour give something for everyone to watch-- especially since there isn't very much in the way of action or Bond-esque sophistication anywhere in this story.
