Review of Live and Let Die (1973) by Josh S — 11 Feb 2010
Here we have the 1st Roger Moore bond outing and he quickly steps into the role smoothly injecting a little more humour while retaining the characters action edge.
Some great moments in a film containing hungry crocodiles, alligators AND sharks, some awesome gadgets (mainly the heavily used magnetic watch) an epic boat chase and some epic henchmen including one with a metal arm complete with crushing kung-fu grip, the immortal over-actor Baron Samedi and the fat guy who's a bit strong but can only talk quietly...oooh tough break Whisper.
All in all a pleasing start to the next era of Bond.
