Review of Live and Let Die (1973) by Sham K — 23 Jun 2012

Definitely not a good James Bond movie. Roger Moore plays Bond at a more slow and mellow pace. Roger Moore does an excellent job with a plot that sucks. In this true blaxploitation movie of the 1970's, all the black people are "niggers", the whites are "crackers", and it even has a white "honkey" of a sherif.

This racist movie is unlike the other James Bond flicks. Roger Moore's Bond debut is excellent and the title song "Live and Let Die" by Paul McCartney is very good, but with the racial under tones and the weak plot line about drug lords, this is unlike any other Bond movies.

This plot sucks. Isn't a true Bond flick supposed to be about ruling the world? Not worth the time to watch. Skip James Bond movie #8 and go straight to #9 "The Man With The Golden Gun." =(.
