Review of Live and Let Die (1973) by Alex K — 30 Nov 2008

A very entertaining Bond film, and a great start for Moore. The film was a little tongue in cheek, but not enough to bother me. I also kind of enjoyed the blaxploitation element of it, as it provided for a different Bond experience.

However, the hick sheriff and the overly long boat chase were quite annoying. Plus, the ridiculous death of the villain and the lack of Q brought the film down a little. Aside from that, it's a good, fun, Bond movie.
