The title song might be the best of any bond film and I do enjoy the speadboat chase, but the movie on the whole is rather dull. Bond breaks up a drug ring, fights some voodoo people, big freaking deal.

Roger Moore's first outing as Bond proves why he is the worst out of all the actors to play the character in the series. He's too stiff and upper class to be believable as Bond. There is the humor, but not the rough edge.

He would go on to star in some more likeable Bond movies, but I always felt that he hurt the series. And on a side note the movie is pretty racist, even for 1973. They make sure to give Bond a pretty, young, white virgin girl to rescue from the "evil black people" who use her magic against the whites.

And for some reason the movie has about 98% of all black people in the western hemisphere are involved in the voodoo drug trade thingy. Its not Bond meets Blaxploitation, its Bond meets KKK conspiracy theory.
