Connery has left the role Moore has stepped in and taken the franchise in a new direction. Live And Let Die is a solid James Bond picture, very different then its predecessors. There is more of a 70's feel to it then Diamonds Are Forever and suprisingly dark for a Roger Moore Bond film.

Moore's first performance is probably his best performance as James Bond as he still maintained the coolness Connery brought to the character before making him campy.
