Review of Live and Let Die (1973) by Phillip G — 26 May 2011
Probably the most overrated of the bond films, this 1st roger moore installment is notably descent. This movie is best known for its theme song by Paul and Linda McCartney.
Pros.
+ The Opening Theme Music.
+ The Boat Chase.
Cons.
- Too cartoon-y for my tastes, especially at the end when the villain turns into a balloon (I'll admit: I didn't see it coming).
- A little to racial - I don't like cultural differences in my bond films.
- Sgt. J.W. Pepper.
