Review of Live and Let Die (1973) by Roy S — 01 Nov 2012
An above-average Bond; certainly an above-average Moore Bond. It is probably the best acting he has done in the series, and it was his first time in the role. Yaphet Kotto also turns it on and is an excellent villain; again, one of the best in the series.
Sir Paul McCartney and Sir George Martin provide some of the best music in the series. Some find the voodoo-Blaxploitation elements off-putting, but I enjoy them quite a bit. And finally, I am very fond of Jane Seymour.
