Review of Live and Let Die (1973) by Tony P — 20 May 2015
Roger Moore makes his debut as suave secret agent James Bond 007 and suave he is in reality!
He also brings an element of light hearted humour to the role compared to past actor Sean Connery.
In this adventure Moore fights heroin drug barons in the Caribbean. Along the way the audience is introduced to peripheral characters of interest M and Moneypenny who finds Bond in a compromising situation with an Italian conquest! American sequences in New York feature.
A young Jane Seymour is the major love interest.
The films title song is one if not the series best. Paul McCartney and Wings.
The soundtrack composed by George Martin.
An excellent debut from Sir Roger in the first of his seven. Yes seven efforts.
