Review of Live! (2007) by Ross M — 15 Feb 2010

As far as media satire goes, nothing will come close to Network or Natural Born Killers but that doesn't mean there can't be other good ones. Live! being more like the former, was inevitably going to fail to match the subtilties Network presented with its metaphorical intricacies.

It does however, match its searing honesty in the portrayal of the cut throat bussiness of the media. The extremities in both act as a metaphor and they both do it well, it is just that Live! is much less subtle in how it does it, which unfortunately makes it too unbelievable.
