Warm, gorgeous, funny, moving. This male was thoroughly enchanted by Little Women - and not just by the stars, though let's not pretend that cinema hasn't often been about the luminosity of beautiful actors on the silver screen.

I had no difficulty following the 'back and forth' of the split times, and this helped maintain a more balanced tone throughout (instead of the potential for twee/saccharine early years moving to sober later years with consequent regret dominant) and an uplifting conclusion.
