Review of Little Women (1994) by Maureen — 17 Aug 2008
Love love love this movie. I saw it in the theater when it first came out but I was only 16 and didn't appreciate it like I do now. It's set in the post-civil war time period so if you don't like films that take you way back than you wont like this.
The costuming is well done along with the scenery. LOVE LOVE LOVE the soundtrack! I find music in a movie to be very important for it sets the tone. Great life lessons learned and a tear jerking ending! Excellent for young girls to watch! Some good stars are featured in this as well including Wynona Ryder, Claire Daines, Kirsten Dunst when she was a little girl and a young Christian Bale who is gorgeous in this film! MUST SEE!
