Review of Little White Lies (2010) by James M — 16 Apr 2011

Alot of people say it's too long and I think they're probably right. Alot of people are claiming it's a little self indulgent and hides its middle class neurosis behind the simple fact "it's a French film" and that it ludicrously exaggerates the peculiarities and defects of the characters. Maybe.

However, I accept its flaws because, all things considered, it's hugely enjoyable and very well made. I can't think of any film similar to it in terms of storyline and the clever script. A worthy entry in Guillaume Canet's career.
