Little Shop of Horrors is consistently amusing and churns with non-stop musical momentum, plus a few old-time Disney touches. A full-blown movie musical, and quite a winning one. This musical about a plant that craves blood has a smart and snappy score -- and Steve Martin in a hilarious bit as a dentist who gives himself laughing gas as he treats his unanesthetized patients. The songs are joyful, and the plant is a foul-mouthed wonder when it begins to talk. With Special Appearances from Bill Murray, John Candy, Christopher Guest & James Belushi...

VERDICT: "Full Price" - Second highest rating in the system (Positive to Mixed reaction). This is a rating to a movie I view as very entertaining and well made, and definitely worth paying the full price at a theater to see or own on DVD. It is not perfect, but it is definitely excellent...
