Review of Little Shop of Horrors (1986) by Hoss R — 07 Jun 2013
This is definitely a silly, campy movie that is amusing but not often very funny. Thank God for Steve Martin, whose appearance injects some much needed verve into a movie that's lagging just a bit.
Frank Oz's effects are great, reminiscent of movies like Gremlins. Indeed, this film shares that movie's taste for the macabre, though I don't find it nearly as light on its feet and the songs aren't too memorable.
