Review of Little Otik (2001) by Rowan E — 04 Oct 2007
This is one of those films that pulls at your viceral strings. I love Svankmajer's twisted mind and this one takes the cake. That scene wherein she is first seen breastfeeding little Otik left me nauseated, amused, and unnaturally curious.
This movie is exactly the type of movie I can't stop thinking about. There is nothing overtly deep or political about it, just a mind fuck . . . sweeet.
