I remember liking this movie when I first saw it, then I watched it again. Sandler's movies have been on a steady downfall for sometime, and his newer movies are just awful. This was around the time of his decline, but it is far better than his new material.
He plays a different character than normal for a change. It has great cameos by Dan Marino and Quentin Tarantino among others, but it is just not that funny. The way they talk in their heads just feels like a bad kung fu dub.
Plus the jokes aren't that funny.
