Review of Little Murders (1971) by Tim S — 23 Aug 2008
'70s absurdity gets full reign, with a Warriors-style, out-of-control New York City as a supporting character. Amidst the ridiculousness, Donald Sutherland as the minister is splendid. The entire wedding sequence, in fact, is worth seeing even if you don't make it any further (I almost didn't).
It's easy to envision Gould and Arkin sitting around during filming, smoking grass and exclaiming that they were going to blow some minds, man.
