Howie Mandel is a monster. What else do I need to say? This is a great kids movie. The movie doesn't really kick in until Fred Savage's character goes into the Monster Realm or whatever it's called.
Once there the set design and art direction make up for the minor inconveniences in the first half hour. Good rainy sunday afternoon movie.
