Review of Little Miss Sunshine (2006) by M G — 26 Apr 2012
I absolutely love this movie. A highly dysfunctional family taking a road trip in an equally dysfunctional van. Although the family is completely a mess, they all serve their own comedic moments, which are many.
From the suicidal homosexual uncle, the heroin addict grandfather, the mute by choice and color blind son, the innocent little daughter, the mother who serves as the glue to the family, and the overbearing, yet caring father.
Filled with satire and dark humor, Little Miss Sunshine is filled with great moments of laughter. A truly great comedy.
