Review of Little Miss Sunshine (2006) by Francisco S — 10 Jan 2016
Olive's dance was a satire of the overt sexualization of the little girls of Little Miss Sunshine; as such, it is utterly ironic that that female judge was so outraged by her dance. As for the rest of the movie-individually, everyone returns home with shattered dreams, but their future never looked brighter as a family.
Films that actually celebrate family are becoming somewhat of a rarity.
