Review of Little Miss Sunshine (2006) by Tracy W — 13 Feb 2013

I watch this movie every few months or so, even though I've seen it like a million times by now I'm always humored and moved by the story the characters the acting and the direction. What could have been just another lame indie road movie turns out to be something a little more special.

I thought it deserved best picture that year. It's ending is one of the most enduring endings to any film that I have ever seen in cinema. It's joyful, it's tearful it's even kinda embarrassing and pathetic.

Little miss sunshine is one of my very favorite films and will be for years to come.
