Review of Little Miss Sunshine (2006) by Patrick G — 02 Jun 2013
Quite poignant and flourishing. An instant classic family film. Great cast although I admit that I somehow had the urge to punch Richard in the face because he kept on saying the wrong things from the first half of the film.
I mean how sure can this character be a motivational speaker although he is trying hard to be one? Sometimes winners and losers don't just sum up the people, the society as a whole of making life as a competition, it's all about being true to yourself and being able to accept things whole-heartedly good or bad.
The film is sort of depressing too and also has its touching, warm family moments. Be aware of strong language though. To conclude, it's a satisfactory watch. This is a family-themed movie worth watching.
A++.
