Review of Little Miss Sunshine (2006) by Ruokang H — 06 Oct 2013
The story here is one big plate of messy chop suey disguised with superficial depth. Everyone in this film seems to be facing a personal crisis, which, however, was vaguely described and shallowly portrayed.
It is hardly convincing to solve everyone's life crisis by achieving at the pageant contest... In other words, the plots were just way too cheap to address the subtle and sensitive problems like this.
