Review of Little Miss Sunshine (2006) by Dwilly — 04 Aug 2006
While it teeters at times at the not-so-good edge, there are enough surprises and substantial quality work to make it ultimately gratify. It gets far by jolting the heart with its tried and true theme: family is an insane mess that nonetheless sustains; the same one that's carried the Simpsons, Malcolm In The Middle, Married With Children, etc.
No real standout performances, but everyone holding up their end.
