Review of Little Man Tate (1991) by Kevin M — 09 Jun 2007
Jodie Foster is awesome (as usual) and little Adam Hann-Byrd acts with skill and sweetness in this story of a child whose intellectual gifts become a handicap to a happy childhood. When I saw this as a child myself, it made me desperately long to be an off-the-charts prodigy, instead of just a brainy kid.
I think I kinda missed the point. Anyway, "Little Man Tate" has a special place in this brainy kid's heart.
