Review of Little Fockers (2010) by Michael T — 17 Nov 2013
The big problem with "Little Fockers" is that it's exhausted its conventions. Father-in-law Jack Byrnes's (Robert De Niro's) uptightness, his push to control son-in-law Greg (Ben Stiller) with threats to push him out of the family Circle of Trust, and on an on.
There are genuinely cute parts to the movie, which mostly involve the children. But the children as actors really get short shrift in this film. If there were more focus on them, perhaps this would have been a more enjoyable film.
