Review of Little Children (2006) by Patrick L — 06 Nov 2012
A fascinating, sexual, sensual thriller about people making bad choices and having to live with the consequences. Jennifer Connelly isn't even recognizable as she seamlessly plays the role of a wife whose husband is unable to pass the bar exam and whom feels neglected due to her focusing on their son.
Kate Winslet is sensual, sexy, and winsome as an unassuming, tomboyish woman who is not feeling like a real or a good mom to her daughter and whose husband is so busy with work and then becomes fascinated by a woman who has been operating a pornography site and gets caught up in fantasizing about her.
Raw, sexual scenes and full nudity is in this film. Ultimately a tragic movie with something approaching a happy or not so unhappy ending.
