Review of Little Children (2006) by Alex C — 18 Jan 2009
This is just a great movie by Todd Field, in what's his first film since the great "In the Bedroom". The insight and perspective on suberban life is both encapsilating, and some how feels very familiar.
Normally I don't comment on narration of a film that much, but here, it's both off-beat and funny. However, it doesn't distract from the story. The film has some comedy, but this is really a brooding look in the frustration of suburbian life.
