Review of Little Children (2006) by Ws W — 23 Jan 2009
Plural. A drama/ comedy noir (though I didn't quite expect that). A bit Woody Allen; a bit [American Beauty]; a bit [Desperate Housewives]. Even I too feel a bit complicated after viewing. And no, the film is not 130 minutes all sex scenes of Kate Winslet & Patrick Wilson.
Jackie Earle Haley, indisputably, stands out among the great cast; Winslet, Wilson are in their forms as well. A stirring & thrilling ending. Good execution of directing & adaptation overall.
