Review of Little Children (2006) by Dustin G — 07 Feb 2009
Some excellent elements. An amazing performance from Jackie Earle Haley.
Well written story with an interesting plot. And effective in its depiction of a sex offender.
However, many terrible elements. The lucidris ending. The narrator. Kate Winslet's character, a despicable person I thought. And the way the movies slows to almost a complete halt at times.
It's interesting when a movie's bad parts are terrible and it's good parts are fantastic. It shows the movie had a chance to either be an excellent picture all around, or a terrible one.
