Tom Perrotta wrote the book Little Children, which he adapted for the screen. Though the film followed the bookâ??s storyline, it lost something on the big screen. The book was a satire â?? and the characters ranged from delusional to psychotic.
Itâ??s hard to watch a movie when you donâ??t really care about the fate of the characters â?? they were all misguided and self-absorbed. The book worked much better in my opinion. However, I do recommend the film because the acting is so superb.
