Review of Little Children (2006) by Jhordan W — 31 Jul 2011
An entertaining caricature/satire on suburban family life, showing how adults can be as childish as their little children, only more guilty and accountable. The plot felt quite drawn out and lengthy though, almost like reading a novel.
Several scenes could probably have been cut out. I did enjoy the narrator -- he gave many amusing and clever descriptions. The subplots also connect together quite powerfully, though it happens so fast I couldn't appreciate it fully.
Great performances from all the actors and actresses, particularly Kate Winslet.
