Review of Little Buddha (1993) by Alex S — 10 Oct 2010
Watched this movie for the third time in my upper division Buddhism class. As an assignment, we were told to analyze the discrepancies of the Buddhism ideals/practices depicted in the movie vs. historical evidence.
While the movie is not without flaws, it is a well-made, entertaining movie that is a good introduction for anyone looking to immerse themselves in the general foundations of the Buddhism religion. Enjoy!
