Review of Little Boy (2015) by Linda C — 26 Dec 2015
Excellent movie. Had my interest the entire movie. Faith vs magic. Value of good strong father figure. We don't see many of these movies, Faithfulness of wife. Love of children to their father. A fathers love to be with his sons. Sacrifice of families as war separates families. Sacrifices of families. Also showed the parallels of school yard bullies, how Japanese were intimidated and also bullied due to looking like the enemy. We didn't see much, but could imagine the bullying occurring of phillipine guards towards their American POWS. Powerful movie. Enjoyed and had lots of tears at end.
Lots of messages and topics which could be good discussions about war families and faith.
