Review of Little Black Book (2004) by Kevin N — 19 Dec 2007
Once upon a time Girl was going out with Boy. Girl knew that Boy was being strange but could not work out what exactly was wrong. Girl realises that boy has been lying to her. Girl weighs up the options.
Girl decides that if Boy will not come clean she will find out the truth for herself. So Girl contacts ex-girlfriend and interviews her for a documentary. Girl finds out exactly what Boy has been lying to her about.
Girl bollocks Boy. Girl and Boy live happily ever after? Interesting how every guy who has rated this movie hates it... Nick Hurran takes an issue that affects women who have a perhaps too-romantic vision of 'the one' but tries to be a bit too clever with it and sometimes it feels like nobody really knows in what direction it's heading.
While the men who watch this will remain unconvinced that women are anything other than snooping crazy bitches, all new girlfriends should be aware that all men lie. Even the nice ones.
