Review of Little Black Book (2004) by Valerie E — 15 Jan 2010

While the premise was relatively fresh, nothing in this movie made much of an impression on me. Brittany Murphy was charming enough as the mixed-up protagonist, and came across as a nice bled of a few other well-known actresses.

I think the only real treat was Holly Hunter's portrayal of Stacy's driven coworker with a twist. Her hunger for dramaticism and cunning, skewed view of friendship and business is the purest part of this movie.
